The Role

We are looking for an experienced Okta Pre-Sales Consultant / Solutions Engineer to collaborate with clients, sales, and technical teams. You will provide technical expertise, demonstrate Okta solutions, and develop customized IAM strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to qualify opportunities and define appropriate Okta-based solutions.
• Deliver engaging technical presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept for Okta’s product suite (Customer Identity, CIAM, Workforce Identity, Access, Lifecycle Management, etc.).
• Engage with both technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and align them with Okta capabilities.
• Create solution architectures, high-level designs, and proposals in partnership with delivery teams.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on IAM best practices, industry trends, and Okta’s roadmap.
• Support RFP/RFI responses with technical content and solution positioning.
• Help build repeatable pre-sales assets, demo environments, and reference architectures.
• Maintain extensive technical knowledge of the Okta platform and the broader IAM ecosystem (e.g., Azure Entra ID, Ping, ForgeRock).

Requirements

• Proven experience in pre-sales consultancy or solutions engineering with Okta solutions.
• Deep understanding of Okta solutions (Customer Identity & Workforce Identity preferred, Lifecycle Management, SSO, MFA).
• Experience with demos, PoCs, and solution architecture design.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with IAM standards (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2, SCIM) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is beneficial.
• Okta certifications required; other IAM certifications are a plus.
