The Role

The Offshore Integrity Supervisor reports to the unit Maintenance Superintendent and has a technical/operational alignment with the Asset Integrity Construction team. They are responsible for the execution of the painting program, spool replacements, repairs on piping and structure, removal and installation of insulation, removal and installation of PFP, etc. The Offshore Integrity Supervisor will support asset upgrade activities (brownfield projects) and shutdown activities (shutdown projects). They lead vendors and participate in planning and execution activities.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and broad application of the Management system, codes of practice, and prime policies.
• Demonstrate leadership and act as the company representative onboard.
• Liaise effectively with all relevant onshore and offshore departments.
• Lead welding, painting, scaffolding, and construction activities and vendor teams.
• Ensure installations are performed efficiently in accordance with the approved Task Risk Assessment and Permit To Work.
• Ensure smooth synchronization of activities, eliminating occurrences of symptoms.
• Identify technical issues and escalate them as appropriate for early resolution.
• Provide guidance and technical support to the Installation Work Package issuance.
• Identify systems to be offline when a spool replacement is required for planning.
• Ensure effective communication and clarify any uncertainties with the Project Engineer / Offshore Superintendent.
• Approve WO requests and control backlog, ensuring all executed WO are closed.
• Be accountable for planning and execution, maintaining or reducing activity durations.
• Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks to ensure safety and efficiency during task execution.
• Cascade safety rules and ensure understanding and application by the team.
• Anticipate necessary safety training for the team and report needs to the HSE advisor.
• Maintain high awareness of HSE topics and procedures amongst the team through training and awareness sessions.

Emergency Response

• Carry out Emergency Response role (See Station Bill).
• Demonstrate competence in Emergency Response drills and exercises.

Requirements

• Degree qualification in Engineering Discipline or Technical qualification with over 10 years of proven experience in production facilities.
• Experience in the Upstream oil and gas industry, ideally FPSOs, Piping Inspection/Construction, Asset integrity.
• Technical knowledge on construction activities such as welding, painting, scaffolding, spool replacement, PFP, and insulation.
• Experience in shutdowns and major unit projects.
• Planning and scheduling knowledge.
• Experience in Non-destructive inspection with a significant piping materials/corrosion background.
• Good sense of economics and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in English at a minimum of B1 level according to the CEFR international standard.
• Medically fit according to The Company GEMS Instruction Health Requirements to Work Offshore.
