We are seeking an experienced Network Security Manager to lead the security workstream of a major European network transformation programme for a global enterprise organisation. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and governing secure network architectures across multiple countries. Working closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, and project delivery teams, you will ensure the successful deployment of next-generation networking and security technologies while maintaining operational resilience and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the network security workstream for a large-scale European transformation programme.
• Design and implement secure enterprise network architectures across multiple sites and regions.
• Define and enforce network security standards, policies, and governance.
• Manage the deployment and optimisation of Cisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper technologies.
• Oversee firewall migrations, segmentation initiatives, and secure connectivity across hybrid environments.
• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and architecture teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and performance of enterprise network services.
• Lead technical design workshops and provide security guidance throughout project delivery.
• Manage third-party vendors, systems integrators, and technology partners.
• Conduct security risk assessments and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Develop technical documentation, network security standards, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to network and security engineering teams.
• Support incident response and root cause analysis for critical network security events.
