The Role

As a Menswear Designer, you will develop contemporary and commercial collections that embody the KARL LAGERFELD essence—timeless and effortlessly cool. Collaborating with the Senior Menswear Designer, you will contribute to both Mainline and Outlet collections, ensuring a cohesive brand vision while innovating products from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design commercial menswear across various product categories aligned with seasonal concepts and brand DNA.
• Develop graphics, prints, and seasonal design concepts.
• Research trends, materials, and global market developments.
• Create technical sketches and tech packs.
• Collaborate closely with Product Development, Merchandising, Buying, and suppliers throughout the development process.
• Attend fittings, sample reviews, and factory visits as needed.
• Utilize AI-powered design tools to enhance research, concept generation, visualization, and product development while maintaining a strong creative vision.
• Ensure consistency across all menswear collections.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial menswear design.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and fit.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with AI-driven creative tools (e.g., StyleAI, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Vizcom) and a desire to integrate digital innovation into the design process.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the global menswear market.
• Fluent in English.
