The Role

As a Medior Specialist in Electrical Engineering, you will tackle interesting challenges in the field of electrical engineering. Your responsibilities include advising, designing, and testing building-related installations, ensuring an integrated design that aligns with client ambitions.

You will collaborate with colleagues in multidisciplinary teams, contributing your expertise to integrated projects that often require customized solutions. You will also manage one or more junior installation technicians in your projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify the scope and purpose of designs.
• Model single-sided diagrams of electrical installations and coordinate with other disciplines for initial space reservations.
• Provide project documentation to ensure quality information flow to contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Write technical specifications and reports.
• Review contractor prequalifications and create summary evaluations for tender assessments.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing and assessing project costs and risk assessments.
• Contribute to large integrated tenders and write quotations.

In addition to project-related activities, you will help optimize business processes and safeguard knowledge within your field, engaging with the MEP Community.

What You Bring

You are a committed Engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset, identifying market developments and opportunities while being customer-focused. As a team player, you thrive in multidisciplinary teams and possess professional knowledge in building installations, eager to contribute to the expansion of installation knowledge within Haskoning.

In addition, you have:

• A completed academic or applied sciences degree in electrical engineering, building services, energy technology, or HIT-E.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge and experience with integrated projects (Revit & BIM).
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Your interest in digitization and innovative ideas will be a plus, as you are open to using new software or working methods in your projects.
