The Role

We are seeking a talented Medical Copywriting Lead with strong Dutch and English copywriting skills focused on the medical industry. You will develop copy content for brand deliverables, complementing the design team while serving our pharmaceutical clients. Your primary responsibility will be to create promotional communication content, translating complex scientific data into compelling copy that adheres to medical, regulatory, legal, and compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update content for various commercial assets, focusing on omnichannel implementation across digital channels (e.g., banner ads, emails, social media) and printed materials (e.g., posters, slide kits, leaflets).
• Ensure compliance with medical, regulatory, and legal guidelines in the Netherlands, including internal client policies, and support all content with authentic references.
• Collaborate with graphic design and brand teams on briefs, workshops, and project deliveries.
• Maintain adherence to editorial standards while creating copy drafts and follow best practices in communication and project management.
• Participate in training programs, client calls, and creative projects as needed.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance the accuracy and relevance of copy content.
• Ensure compliance with quality, confidentiality, and security protocols.

Requirements

• Degree in a related healthcare field or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a creative or agency role within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Understanding of local regulatory requirements and familiarity with medical fields, especially respiratory, immunology, cardiovascular, renal, metabolic, and oncology therapy areas.
• Strong writing skills with a solid grasp of the digital landscape and SEO copywriting best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and good business English.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a large multinational company preferred.
