RWE Generation NL is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the operations department at the Eemshaven plant as soon as possible. In this role, you will collaborate with your team to manage, monitor, and maintain the integrity of the installation and its systems, contributing to safe and uninterrupted electricity production. You will be part of a team of mechanical engineers, under the leadership of a team leader, who operate and oversee the plant 24/7 throughout the year.

Over de functie

You will operate the installation via the state-of-the-art T3000 system and intervene promptly when deviations are detected. Your responsibilities include analyzing and resolving issues with the installation, conducting checks to ensure process continuity and the intended safety and quality levels, and promoting safe working conditions by enforcing safety policies to prevent accidents and environmental damage. You will also gather data from the process to utilize for safety, quality, product, and process improvements and control.

Functie-eisen en ervaring

• You possess an MBO technical work and thinking level, such as AOT, supplemented with a relevant qualification like REWIC-A.
• You are eager to deepen your knowledge of our technologically advanced installation and recognize that your learning journey is far from over.
• You are fluent in Dutch, English, and preferably German.
• You live in the vicinity of Eemshaven or are willing to relocate there in the future.
