You must possess a recognized (DUO bevoegd) teaching qualification, a master's degree in Mathematics or a related field, and experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level. Familiarity with the IB DP and MYP mathematics courses is essential. We value multidisciplinary interests and encourage involvement in school life beyond the classroom. You should reside in the Netherlands and hold a work visa or a European/NL passport, along with an excellent command of English.

You will be part of the Mathematics Department, teaching students aged 12 to 18 in the International Baccalaureate Programme. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for designing the curriculum. Our experienced and well-established team will provide guidance and support. We are particularly interested in candidates who wish to engage with the school community, for example, as a mentor, in the Duke of Edinburgh International Award, or through student clubs.

Start Date:

1 October 2026.

We are part of the Alberdingk Thijm Scholen group, benefiting from the support of our board and collaboration with our sister school, International School Laren. Our location in the heart of Hilversum is just a 15-minute walk from Hilversum station or a 10-minute walk from Hilversum Sportpark station. Free parking is available for staff on the school grounds.

Working days are Monday through Thursday. Salary will be determined based on your background and experience, in accordance with the Dutch CAO-VO, which includes benefits such as a year-end bonus and travel allowance.
