Het Topklinisch Centrum voor Neuropsychiatrie (TCvN), onderdeel van het Vincent van Gogh Instituut voor geestelijke gezondheidszorg, biedt tweejaarlijks minimaal 2 stageplekken aan. Deze stageplaatsen zijn voor een periode van 5 maanden, met een minimum van 28 uur per week. Het TCvN is gespecialiseerd in de diagnostiek en behandeling van patiënten met zeldzame, onbegrepen of therapieresistente psychiatrische aandoeningen.
Over het Centrum:
Het TCvN heeft een polikliniek waar patiënten worden verwezen voor een eerste consult. Dit consult omvat een inventarisatie van klachten en voorgeschiedenis, gevolgd door psychiatrisch en neuropsychologisch onderzoek. De verkregen informatie wordt gebruikt voor het opstellen van een werkhypothese en verdere behandeling. De kliniek biedt uitgebreide diagnostiek en observatie, waarna een behandeltraject wordt opgesteld.
