As a Market Development Specialist Crop, you serve as the vital link between the international and local crop organization, breeding programs, and the Strategic Crop Team. You will merge market insights with product knowledge to formulate clear strategies. Collaborating closely with colleagues worldwide, you will play a crucial role in portfolio management and product development for Latin America.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate commercial introduction and trial plans for each market segment, including sales objectives and forecasts for both commercial and pre-commercial varieties.
- Actively collect market and product insights alongside a robust network of crop specialists, contributing to commercial strategies and breeding policies.
- Identify opportunities for new product development.
- Advise the Strategic Crop Team on current activities and future directions.
- Act as a local client manager for key accounts.
- Lead special local projects that enhance value across the entire value chain, connecting crop and local organizations.
