At our Hellendoorn factory, around 150 employees produce the finest ice cream for 25 European countries, focusing on quality, sustainability, and Fairtrade practices. We are looking for a Manufacturing Excellence Leader to drive our improvement programs and digital initiatives.

De Functie

In this role, you will report to the factory director and lead a team of five, along with a flexible group of young talents. Your main responsibility will be to eliminate factory and supply chain losses and risks through a comprehensive improvement program. This includes all aspects of the factory, from safety to quality and productivity improvements, measured through tangible KPIs (zero incidents, OLE, waste percentages, savings). You will document improvements in standards and manage them effectively. Additionally, you will lead the three-year improvement agenda, which is a crucial part of the factory Masterplan, and support various pillar leaders in implementing the Ice Cream Manufacturing System, based on TPM/WCM principles. Furthermore, you will oversee the development and execution of our digital agenda, ensuring our factory remains at the forefront of digital advancements, including cybersecurity and the use of digital tools in production and support processes.

• Implement the ICMS program with a zero-loss mentality.
• Design and execute the continuous improvement program in collaboration with the factory leadership team.
• Develop and implement the factory's digital roadmap.
• Establish a program to meet our cybersecurity requirements.
• Achieve the objectives outlined in the Masterplan, focusing on safety, production efficiency (OLE), and waste reduction.
• Strengthen the continuous improvement mindset within the factory culture.
• Act as a thought leader on these topics and advise the factory director and management team.
• Represent the Ben & Jerry’s factory in the global network of The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC).

Vereisten

• Bachelor/Master degree in supply chain management or engineering.
• Proven leadership experience in a production environment.
• Experience with WCM, TPM, or Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong curiosity and analytical skills.
• Digital native with a demonstrated affinity for digital processes and improvements.
• Knowledge of sustainable processes and improvement opportunities.
• Proficiency in Dutch (preferred) and English (required).
