The Role

This diverse position allows you to take ownership of process performance in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Your primary focus will be on implementing, optimizing, and continuously improving aseptic vial filling processes. You will work closely with a team that values development and collaboration, especially during times of change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support process improvements in aseptic filling to enhance efficiency and operational performance.
• Drive the implementation of new or updated manufacturing processes, including equipment support and fill line introductions.
• Act as a process owner, using your knowledge of aseptic vial filling to identify and address process inefficiencies.
• Observe and analyze process performance on the production floor, translating insights into targeted improvements.
• Review batch-related documentation and manufacturing records to ensure operational integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, MS&T, and Supply Chain, to deliver sustainable solutions.
• Coach and support colleagues during process improvements and implementation activities, enhancing team capabilities.

This role is dynamic and requires flexibility, as priorities may shift and unexpected challenges may arise. Approximately 60-70% of your time will focus on implementation and optimization, while the remainder will involve core GMP responsibilities, such as documentation and batch record reviews.

Requirements

We seek a candidate with relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing who is prepared for a hands-on, improvement-oriented role:

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic processing, particularly in aseptic vial filling.
• Experience in process implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Solid understanding of GMP and quality expectations in regulated environments.
• Ability to assess issues, prioritize effectively, and adapt in changing operational settings.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in cross-team collaboration.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate observations into practical improvements.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Information

Your working days will be Monday to Friday, with no regular shift work. Participation in an on-call rotation is required, approximately one week every four weeks, with availability from 07:00 to 22:00. An allowance is provided, with additional compensation for calls outside office hours.
