Pinsent Masons is looking for a commercially minded Managing Senior Associate to join our Employment & Incentives team in Amsterdam. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a highly international practice that advises clients on various employment law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, and workplace disputes.

The Role

As a senior member of the Employment & Incentives team, you will take a leading role in client delivery, people development, and practice growth. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading complex domestic and cross-border employment law matters for multinational clients.
• Advising on restructurings, redundancies, and workforce transformation programmes.
• Managing employment aspects of domestic and international M&A transactions.
• Overseeing complex employment litigation and workplace disputes.
• Supporting clients on employee participation and diversity matters.
• Advising on global mobility and cross-border employment issues.
• Coordinating multi-jurisdictional projects with colleagues across our international network.
• Building long-term client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
• Contributing to thought leadership and business development initiatives.
• Mentoring and developing junior talent within the team.

Requirements

• Netherlands-qualified lawyer with 7+ years of employment law experience.
• Strong technical expertise and ability to provide pragmatic advice.
• Experience in advising on employment-related transactions and disputes.
• Confidence in leading complex matters and managing stakeholder groups.
• Proven interest in business development and client relationship management.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Outstanding communication skills in Dutch and English.
