Recently awarded a Michelin Key, our House is recognized for its outstanding comfort and design. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team.

The Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for hands-on maintenance tasks within the hotel. Your strong practical experience in a hospitality environment will enable you to work independently, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs effectively. You will collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager and the wider team to provide technical and operational support for the daily operations of the building.

Responsibilities

Perform planned and reactive maintenance throughout the property.
Diagnose technical issues and execute appropriate first-line repairs.
Conduct general repairs in plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical work, and overall building maintenance.
Assist in maintaining mechanical equipment, pumps, ventilation, and heating/cooling systems.
Carry out regular inspections of plant rooms, guest areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Identify and report recurring faults with recommended solutions.
Take ownership of assigned maintenance tasks from report to completion.
Support the Maintenance Manager with preventive maintenance plans and follow-up actions.
Assist in coordinating specialist contractors and service providers.
Ensure contractor work is completed correctly and address any outstanding issues.
Provide technical information, quotations, and preparation for maintenance works and small projects.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, service reports, and outstanding actions.
Assist with room preventive maintenance programs.
Support maintenance related to fire safety systems, water systems, access control, and other building services as needed.
Monitor maintenance materials, spare parts, and consumables, reporting when stock needs replenishing.
Respond professionally and efficiently to urgent technical issues.
Collaborate with Housekeeping, Operations, F&B, Security, and other departments to resolve maintenance issues.
Uphold high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and safety at all times.
Adhere to all relevant health and safety, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
