We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic in our Venlo office. The Maintenance Mechanic Department in operations is responsible for keeping equipment, machinery, and facilities running safely and efficiently. They perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support continuous operations.

Wat je gaat doen:

Ensure daily operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and all other conveyor system components; after a few months of training, you should be able to work independently.
Maintain building and installations according to the preventative plan (inside and outside the building).
Follow all maintenance safety programs, including lock-out/tag-out and fall protection/work at height.
Conduct daily system walks and identify potential issues.
Manage the documentation of repairs, PMs, and projects using IT systems.
Perform general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical tasks.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.
Basic computer skills.
Proficiency with manual and electric hand tools.
Good English communication skills; Dutch or German language skills are a plus.
Distribution center experience.
Eagerness to develop technical skills.
Troubleshooting experience.
Comfort working at heights.
Willingness to learn and extend technical knowledge.
Periodic shift work.
Proactive thinking.
