BERG is seeking a Logistics Assistant Planner to ensure our logistics operations run smoothly. You will maintain oversight, quickly coordinate with colleagues, and ensure that everything arrives at the right place at the right time. Together, we streamline operations every day.

As a Logistics Assistant Planner, you will support the planners in coordinating, administrating, and monitoring incoming and outgoing goods flows. You will ensure that goods are received, processed, and shipped on time, accurately, and efficiently. Additionally, you will maintain contact with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments, ensuring that all logistics data and documentation are in order.

You will assist with container planning, transport notifications, and order releases. You will also monitor ETAs and ETDs, process logistics data in ERP and WMS systems, and ensure that the right information is available for colleagues in the warehouse and other departments.

In the absence of the Inbound or Outbound Planner, you will step in and have the opportunity to further develop towards a planning role.

In this role, you will:

• Support inbound and outbound planning.
• Register and monitor ETAs and ETDs.
• Coordinate receipts with the warehouse.
• Assist with order releases, transport notifications, and transport planning.
• Process logistics changes, transport data, and documentation in ERP and WMS systems.
• Check and archive transport documents such as Bills of Lading, packing lists, and commercial invoices.
• Maintain contact with carriers, suppliers, Customer Service, and the warehouse.
• Plan and coordinate internal transports between warehouse locations.
• Assist with return processing and assembly planning.

You thrive on planning, organizing, and juggling various tasks. You maintain oversight, think ahead, and ensure that information is accurate. You work meticulously, communicate easily with different parties, and enjoy solving problems before they arise.

Additionally, you identify with the following:

• MBO-4 work and thinking level, preferably in logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Experience with or interest in transport and customs formalities.
• Good command of Dutch, German, and English.
• You work accurately and maintain oversight, even when it's busy.
• You excel in planning, organizing, and prioritizing.
• You think ahead, identify bottlenecks, and provide solutions.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations is a plus.
• A BHV certificate or willingness to obtain one.
