In this role, you will focus specifically on entertainment and lifestyle. You will closely follow trends, understand what resonates with young people, and seek the stories behind the hype. Your day begins with a morning meeting with the editorial team, where you share ideas, discuss developments in your niche, and identify interesting stories to pursue further. You will delve into subjects, interview experts or stakeholders, gather relevant information, and write scripts that make the stories accessible to youth.

You will then present the story on camera or go on location for reports. You'll create one to two-minute videos for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, knowing how to present topics engagingly while maintaining journalistic integrity. You will collaborate closely with editors and the editorial chief to enhance your videos. Even after a video is published, you will remain engaged by monitoring viewer reactions, interacting with audiences, and keeping track of developments related to your stories.

At SPILNEWS, you will work in a creative and ambitious team of about 23 colleagues across editorial, growth, and studio departments. You will be in an environment that values initiative, where ideas can quickly become reality, and where there is ample opportunity to develop yourself as both a journalist and presenter.

Within the editorial team, you will form the journalistic core of SPILNEWS alongside four other presenters and a desk editor. Each of you will work within your niche and build expertise while also collaborating closely. Your colleagues will be your daily sounding boards, providing feedback on scripts and helping you enhance your stories. You will work independently on your productions but will never be alone in your efforts.
