This full-time position is located in Oman, offering a salary of up to £70k tax-free, depending on experience. Our client, an award-winning architectural and design practice with offices across Europe and the Gulf, is seeking a Lead Landscape Architect. In this role, you will design projects from concept through detailed design and construction documentation for residential, hospitality, mixed-use, and masterplan developments in the Gulf.

The Role

You will leverage your 8-10+ years of experience, particularly in Gulf/Middle East projects at the masterplan, hospitality, or large-scale urban landscape level. The ideal candidate will hold an accredited degree in Landscape Architecture and preferably have chartered status (e.g., Landscape Institute/CMLI or regional equivalent). You should be comfortable working hands-on, combining design with site supervision, and have the ambition to grow a team.

Responsibilities

• Design landscape projects from concept to construction documentation.
• Manage relationships with Gulf-based landscape contractors, nurseries, and suppliers.
• Stay updated on local municipality planting and irrigation requirements.
• Balance client relationships with sub-consultant coordination.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrable experience in Gulf/Middle East projects.
• Accredited degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Chartered status preferred.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
