The Role
In this position, you will lead and manage a diverse team of game developers and QA engineers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality slot games. You will collaborate closely with game designers, product managers, and other teams to align development strategies with our company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of game developers and QA engineers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality slot games while improving our time to market.
- Collaborate with various teams to align game development strategies with company goals.
- Provide technical guidance and promote professional growth within the team.
- Monitor development timelines and resources to keep projects on track.
- Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and address any potential risks.
- Oversee the entire game development lifecycle, ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize TypeScript, JavaScript (ES5/ES6), and Pixi.js to lead the development of game features.
- Actively contribute to game development and perform code reviews.
- Stay informed on industry trends to keep RubyPlay competitive.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in game development, particularly in the online gambling sector.
- 2+ years of leading game development teams and delivering high-quality games.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES5/ES6), and Pixi.js; experience with Node.js and Git.
- Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Basic knowledge of Java or C# is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot development issues and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Previous experience as a Full-Stack Developer is a plus.
- Experience with math development is desirable.
