The Role
As part of our laboratory team expansion, the successful candidate will support various laboratory activities related to equine assisted reproduction technologies. Responsibilities include:
- Handling and processing biological samples, gametes, and embryos
- Supporting laboratory procedures for equine reproductive technologies
- Conducting embryo and oocyte handling activities
- Maintaining laboratory quality control and recording data
- Preparing and organizing laboratory materials and procedures
- Assisting in research and clinical laboratory activities
- Upholding high laboratory standards and operational protocols
The role demands precision, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary and international team. Candidates residing within commuting distance or willing to relocate are preferred due to the operational nature of the role.
Requirements
- Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Veterinary Biotechnology, or a related scientific field
- Interest in reproductive biology and equine assisted reproduction
- Previous experience in embryology, IVF, assisted reproduction, or reproductive biology is advantageous
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and quality control processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Good command of English
Nice to Have
- Experience in equine reproduction laboratories
- Familiarity with embryo or gamete handling
- Interest in advanced reproductive biotechnologies
- Willingness to grow within a specialized international laboratory environment.
