We are seeking a Lab Technician Quality Control - Microbiology to become part of our Quality Control team in Boxmeer. In this hands-on role, you will perform and document microbiological quality control testing on products and materials, adhering to established GMP procedures. Your contribution will help maintain reliable laboratory processes that are compliant and continuously improving.

The Boxmeer site plays a crucial role in supporting the development and production of high-quality animal health products, operating within a highly regulated environment where quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Conduct, document, and review microbiological QC tests in accordance with established procedures.
• Utilize microbiological techniques such as sterility testing, bioburden assessment, and environmental monitoring.
• Apply aseptic working techniques as necessary.
• Enter, analyze, and trend laboratory data.
• Identify and report deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and unusual trends.
• Assist in investigations and help determine potential causes of issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, leveraging Lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Create, update, and enhance work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GGO, and safety requirements in all activities.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Quality Control organization.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO Level 4 / MLO education in Microbiology or a comparable laboratory qualification.
• Relevant practical experience in a microbiology laboratory.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, preferably in a GMP environment.
• Knowledge or experience in microbiological testing techniques.
