Do you have a passion for sports, especially korfball? Do you enjoy teaching and motivating enthusiastic students? Sports Centre de Bongerd is looking for you! We are seeking a Korfball Trainer for our student korfball association Débaldérin, starting as soon as possible. As a trainer, you will be responsible for coaching both competitive and recreational players within the association, which has over 40 members. Training sessions are held on Tuesdays from 19:00–20:30 and Thursdays from 20:00–21:30, with potential for alternative times based on consultation. A typical training session sees 15 to 20 members in attendance. Débaldérin competes in the Dutch Korfball Association (KNKV) leagues. Your main task will be to develop players, improve their skills, enhance enjoyment, and achieve competitive results. In addition to regular training, you will participate in team meetings, training activities, and events outside of regular hours.

Sports Centre de Bongerd (SCB) at Wageningen University & Research (WUR) manages the sports program for students and staff. With 6,500 students and 900 employees, the centre features a diverse team of 45 sports teachers and 9 administrative staff. The SCB plays an active role in the health program Vital@work and is located at the edge of the campus, serving various student sports associations. Due to the large international community, English is the primary language of instruction.

Vereisten

• Active and proactive individual with strong customer focus, teamwork, sociability, coaching, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
• Korfball trainer level 3 certificate or equivalent experience.
• Driven and enthusiastic with clear leadership skills, considering the association's interests.
• Ability to engage with students and foster a sense of community.
• Experience in training players of varying skill levels.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Experience training adults is preferred.
