The Role

As a Junior Social Media Manager, you will work closely with our clients to build and nurture engaged communities. We seek a developing social all-rounder who is enthusiastic, culturally curious, and ready to advance their social career. You will manage social channels daily while contributing to broader social and content strategies in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound comments, messages, and mentions with appropriate responses and escalations as needed.
• Actively moderate social channels to foster positive brand communities.
• Schedule and publish organic and paid social content.
• Plan and maintain content calendars in collaboration with the team.
• Support copy development for social posts and responses.
• Participate in creative brainstorms with creative, social, and strategy teams.
• Stay updated on platform changes, trends, and best practices, sharing insights with the team.
• Maintain cultural and content calendars.
• Use platform insights and tools to extract data and support reporting.
• Develop an understanding of industry benchmarks for engagement, sentiment, reach, and performance.
• Conduct regular social listening to identify opportunities for relevant conversations.
• Work directly with client teams to share updates, gather feedback, and support reporting delivery.
• Create client status updates, meeting notes, and action summaries.
• Build strong client relationships through consistent communication and excellent service.
• Liaise with paid media, PR, and partner agencies to ensure cohesive channel strategies.
• Support campaign planning and execution as required.
