The Role

As a Junior Product Developer, you will collaborate closely with the Design and Merchandising teams to develop high-quality products that meet aesthetic and gross margin targets. You will build strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of the best products. Your responsibilities will include managing sample availability for review meetings and reporting directly to the Director of Development & Production Accessories.

Responsibilities

• Source materials for our main collection and quick injection capsules (hats, scarves, gloves, belts, canvas totes, keychains, umbrellas).
• Manage supplier communications and maintain accurate internal files.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness in PLM (e.g., BOM, prices).
• Participate in proto meetings and assess proto samples for technical details, measurements, and workmanship.
• Communicate feedback to vendors and assess feasibility of changes within timelines.
• Place and manage orders for assigned product categories.
• Track production progress, monitor deadlines, and status.
• Continuously improve products by discovering innovative techniques and new materials.
• Collaborate closely with design, production, and vendors.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in sourcing, development, or production of accessories.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of leathers, fabrics, trims, and fabrication.
• Understanding of costing.
• Experience working with European and Far East suppliers.
• Distinctive product taste with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude are essential.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
