The Role

As a Junior Precision Mechanics Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing high-tech integrated systems from concept to production, testing, and improvement.
• Creating optomechanical assemblies, including optical fixation, alignment, and thermal center control.
• Performing structural, modal, and thermal analyses to validate performance.
• Applying Design for Manufacturing principles, particularly in milling, turning, grinding, and wire EDM.
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the complete product development cycle.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with precision mechanics, design principles, and optomechanical design.
• Knowledge of thermal stability and precision positioning for sub-micron accuracy challenges.
• Experience with CAD modeling, preferably Siemens NX.
• Experience with structural and thermal simulations, preferably Siemens Simcenter (Nastran) and FloEFD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing.
• Good problem-solving skills and a structured approach to work.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
