The Role

As a Junior L&D Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for anyone with questions regarding training, learning, or the Marlink Training Academy LMS, whether they are colleagues, trainers, or business stakeholders. You will ensure our learning operations run smoothly on a daily basis by coordinating schedules, supporting learners, maintaining the platform, and organizing everything behind the scenes.

You do not need a background in L&D to thrive in this role; what matters is your organizational skills, approachability, and genuine curiosity to learn how a global Learning & Development function operates. We will provide you with the necessary training.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day LMS administration: enrolments, learner management, course setup
• First point of contact for learners, trainers, and stakeholders
• Coordinating training schedules and logistics across Business Units
• Supporting the planning and rollout of new learning programmes
• Monitoring course completions, sending reminders, and following up on open actions
• Preparing reports and overviews for the L&D team and the business
• Assisting with communication regarding training initiatives (e.g., newsletters, reminders)
• Keeping the training catalogue organized and up to date

Requirements

• Outgoing and comfortable being the first point of contact for various individuals
• Proactive and able to follow through, thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized, capable of multitasking effectively
• Enjoy structure, coordination, and ensuring smooth processes
• Open to contributing your own ideas and input
• Interested in Learning & Development and eager to grow in the field
• Curious about how AI can enhance your work and eager to learn new tools
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; confident Dutch is a strong plus
• MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level
• Background in business administration, hospitality, event coordination, or similar is a plus; organizational skills and a people-focused mindset are more important than specific studies. L&D experience is not required
• Affinity with learning, training, or people development
• Interest in how AI can support learning and daily work is a plus
• Comfortable using digital tools and systems (LMS experience is a bonus, but not required)
• Available 4 days per week.
