We are hiring a Java Developer to build and maintain enterprise-grade backend services. This role focuses on developing reliable, high-performance systems and collaborates with the broader engineering organization on architecture and execution.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing and developing backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem, building RESTful APIs, optimizing performance, conducting code reviews, and resolving production issues. Collaboration with QA, DevOps, and product teams will be essential for successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services in Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Build RESTful APIs that integrate with internal and external systems.
• Optimize performance and ensure scalability of services.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Partner with QA, DevOps, and product on delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building production Java applications.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Comfort with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and system design.
