Your mission is to kickstart your IT career in the Netherlands as a refugee through the Motopp IT Traineeship, a comprehensive 6-month program that combines training and mentorship, preparing you for full-time positions at top companies.

Motopp is dedicated to providing equal opportunities for everyone, aiming to train and guide 1000 former refugees into jobs in the Netherlands.

De Rol

In this traineeship, you will collaborate with eleven other trainees to prepare for a career in the Dutch IT sector. The program includes technical IT skills training, insights into Dutch work culture, and workshops to enhance essential soft skills. You will learn software development, understand workplace dynamics in the Netherlands, and participate in sessions on presenting, assertiveness, and teamwork. The traineeship is full-time and conducted in English.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Basic Training (2 weeks): Learn about Dutch work culture, communication, presentation techniques, CV building, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• IT Bootcamp (12 weeks): Three modules covering Business IT (Project Management, Business Requirements, Artificial Intelligence), Back-end Development (Python, FastAPI, DevOps), and IT Principles (Testing, ITIL, Cloud Computing, Information Security).
• Internal Internship (12 weeks): Apply your knowledge in a simulated Dutch Agile work environment at Motopp, work on applications in Sprints, and receive feedback from trainers and mentors.
• Career Placement: After training, you will be matched with a position that fits your skills, such as software developer, system administrator, or business analyst, with ongoing support for 18 months.

Vereisten

• Refugee background with a Dutch resident permit.
• English proficiency at level B2.
• Proven interest in IT.
• Completed education at HBO level (equivalent to a bachelor's degree).
• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and eagerness to learn.

Wat We Bieden

• Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30.
• Hybrid work model: Average of two days a week in the Amsterdam office, other days from home.
• Cost-free training: All training costs are covered, along with travel expenses and a laptop if needed.
