We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our Site Technology Servicing team at AVASO Technology in Haarlem, Netherlands. In this role, you will deliver onsite technical support for all users and hardware within the specified locations.

The Role

You will serve as the primary point of contact for IT support at the site, handling various responsibilities to ensure efficient IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support as the main IT contact for the site.
• Support end-user desktops, laptops, and office IT with smart hand support for networks and servers.
• Assist with software installation on end-user systems and servers as needed.
• Prepare IT assets and tools for new user onboarding and manage offboarding processes, including asset collection and sanitization.
• Provide executive and VIP support.
• Coordinate with the backend team for network and server smart hand support.
• Support IP phones, video conferencing, and Level 1 multifunction printers.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise and personal desktop and laptop computers, productivity devices, and business applications.
• Support midrange servers and network devices, including switches, routers, and wireless access points with backend assistance.
• Manage tickets using ServiceNow or a similar system.
• Troubleshoot VPN and provide application support for Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
• Troubleshoot issues with MS Windows 10 and MS Office 365 for end-users.
• Oversee office IT asset management and coordinate with external vendors when necessary.
• Work independently on in-house IT projects and manage time effectively around BAU activities, including SLAs, CSAT, response times, and resolution times.
• Provide technical guidance to site tech and lead project support teams, ensuring effective asset management and user education.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT support with increasing responsibility and technical expertise in a corporate environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems.
• Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.
• Understanding of Active Directory and plant environment knowledge.
• Familiarity with Microsoft server technologies and user management tools, including Office 365, SharePoint, DHCP, and DNS.
• Self-disciplined, motivated, and able to prioritize workload based on SLAs and user impact.
