IT Coordinator - Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht and Hyatt Regency Amsterdam

In this role, you will serve as the primary on-site contact for Level 1 IT support at our two Amsterdam properties. Your responsibilities will include assisting colleagues and guests with technical issues, supporting hotel systems and infrastructure, and collaborating closely with Hyatt's Shared Services Centre in Mainz, Germany.

Your Role:

You will provide hands-on technical support, ensuring clear communication and a service-oriented approach while leveraging strong troubleshooting skills. You will act as the on-site representative for the Shared Services Centre and report to the Area Director of Finance.

• Deliver Level 1 technical support to colleagues, including user guidance, training, troubleshooting, and documentation of procedures.
• Assist guests in connecting their devices to the hotel guest Wi-Fi network.
• Support the Shared Services Centre with infrastructure changes, software updates, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Escalate and coordinate issues with the Shared Services Centre, the Hyatt Service Desk in Chicago, and third-party service providers.
• Maintain safe, tidy, and functional IT work areas and equipment.
• Create dedicated networks for groups and events.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery tests, vulnerability scans, and audits.
• Contribute to the annual capital expenditure (CAPEX) budget for IT replacements.
• Ensure compliance of the hotels' IT environments with Hyatt standards.
• Conduct regular testing and provide clear feedback to management.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support with strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Proficient in network and Wi-Fi configuration for Windows and macOS devices.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Windows clients.
• Good understanding of network fundamentals, including switches, patching, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Confidence in performing minor hardware repairs, such as replacing hard drives, laptop batteries, screens, or printer fusers.
• A proactive, organized, and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently.
• Fluency in English.
• The right to live and work in the Netherlands.

Preferred

• Background in hospitality and/or IT, ideally with experience in a hotel environment.
• Knowledge of hotel technology, such as OPERA Property Management System, MICROS Simphony Point of Sale, VingCard key systems, payment terminals, and telephone systems.
• Familiarity with configuring CCTV systems, particularly Milestone.
• Dutch-language skills.

• Salary: Starting at €2,850 gross per month, depending on education and experience.
