Ironworker / Steel Erector – Marine Project | Den Helder

Your Role

As an Ironworker / Steel Erector, you will engage in marine installations, performing structural and cable support tasks. Safety, quality, and teamwork are paramount, and you will be instrumental in ensuring the project's successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Install temporary cable support systems
• Secure existing cables to temporary supports
• Remove existing cable trays and cable ladders
• Install new cable tray and cable ladder systems
• Reposition and secure cables onto the new cable ladders
• Install Unistrut systems, conduit, and cable supports
• Erect steel structures and support frames
• Install pipe bridges and structural supports
• Grind, drill, cut, and fit steel components
• Read technical drawings and take accurate measurements
• Assist with the logistics of transporting old and new cable tray systems

All work is performed on a covered marine jetty, allowing you to work comfortably while protected from wind and weather.

What We're Looking For

You are a motivated professional with experience in industrial, marine, or offshore environments.

Requirements

• Experience as an Ironworker, Steel Erector, Mechanical Fitter, or Structural Steel Worker
• Experience installing cable trays, cable ladders, conduit, and Unistrut systems
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Experience with industrial maintenance, marine, or offshore projects is an advantage
• Valid Category B driving license
• VCA certificate (preferred)
• Good command of Dutch, English, or German
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
