Maurèle is seeking a Managerial Assistant Intern to become part of our team in Amsterdam. As a fashion boutique located in the heart of the city, we provide a curated selection of exclusive brands and a personalized shopping experience. This internship is designed for individuals eager to learn how a fashion business operates and grows. You will collaborate directly with the founder and gain insights into retail, operations, client relationships, creative projects, partnerships, and business development.

What you’ll do:

• Support the founder by assisting with calendar planning, inbox management, meeting coordination, and organizing priorities.
• Engage in retail activities on the boutique floor, assisting clients, selling, styling, and enhancing the personal experience that fosters customer loyalty.
• Build the Maurèle network by developing relationships with clients and business partners, including stylists, personal shoppers, editors, magazines, and creative collaborators.
• Support daily operations through vendor communication, documentation, light administration, and everyday problem-solving.
• Keep projects on track by organizing timelines, follow-ups, deadlines, and responsibilities across ongoing initiatives.
• Assist the creative studio with shoots, organizing samples and assets, and maintaining a polished creative environment.
• Work with international brands, communicating with French and Spanish brands, assisting with orders and coordination, and occasionally supporting buying-related travel.
• Maintain organization by formatting documents, updating presentations, organizing digital assets, and managing internal tools and systems.

Who you are:

You are currently enrolled in an HBO or university-level program in business, communication, fashion management, entrepreneurship, or a related field. This internship can be tailored to meet your school’s requirements.

You possess:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliability, proactivity, and the ability to take initiative.
• Calmness and adaptability in changing priorities.
• Curiosity about fashion, entrepreneurship, and building a business.
• Comfort in asking questions and proposing solutions.
• A commercially minded perspective with creativity.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Canva.
• Knowledge of Lightspeed is a plus.
• Proficiency in French or Spanish is a strong advantage.
• Most importantly, you are eager to learn, contribute, and take ownership rather than just observe.
