About The Opportunity

At Driscoll’s, the Nursery is tasked with producing and supplying plant material to our growers. Our nursery in Helenaveen produces over 40 million plants annually across 18 sites, serving our grower network in Europe and Africa.

To ensure timely delivery of high-quality plants, accurate and reliable data is crucial. As a Nursery Intern, you will be instrumental in this process.

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will assist the Nursery team with data collection, analysis, and reporting. Your contributions will help improve our processes and advance our transition to a data- and technology-driven organization.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Collecting cultivation data and managing performance dashboards
• Analyzing propagation results
• Forecasting production output
• Generating daily and weekly performance reports
• Designing new dashboards and performance metrics
• Collaborating with the Nursery team on current and future data needs
• Providing recommendations to enhance data collection and reporting, including the use of AI
• Supporting the implementation of performance metrics across the European Nursery organization

Candidate Profile

You are an enthusiastic and analytical student interested in data, technology, and horticultural processes.

Additionally:

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, supply chain, business administration, or a related field
• You are in your 3rd or 4th year
• You possess strong communication skills and are a team player
• You have a hands-on mindset and strong analytical abilities
• You have an interest in data, technology, and production processes
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• You have a valid driver’s license and your own transportation
