We are currently exploring a drug repurposing opportunity for this condition, which affects 1 in 20,000 births and lacks dedicated treatments. This is your chance to be part of an ambitious company that collaborates closely with an experienced founding team, knowledgeable patent attorneys, and academic partners, as well as patient advocacy foundations.
This clinical pharmacology internship is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual eager to expedite therapies to patients and their families. You will work closely with the CEO and Chief Development Officer, gaining insights into the drug development process from bench to bedside. You will report directly to the Chief Development Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory relevant data and reports to assist in establishing selection criteria for short-listing compounds suitable for CdCS patients.
- Systematically evaluate shortlisted compounds based on clinical study reports, including pharmacokinetics and outcome measures for both adults and pediatrics.
- Conduct an initial formulation feasibility review based on literature and expert interviews.
- Deliver a comparison report for compound prioritization.
- Collaborate closely with academic partners.
- Attend relevant events and conferences, becoming an integral member of the team!
