About the Company

Our Global Digital group encompasses all software developed in the MSD-EM related sites worldwide, with main R&D locations in Eindhoven (Netherlands), Bordeaux (France), Hillsboro (US), and Brno (Czech Republic). We are responsible for the entire software stack, from FPGA to embedded and scientific application software.

The Role

As an intern, you will work closely with your team, including PhDs and engineers, to construct and implement a model based on the Dirac-Hartree-Fock method and many-body perturbation theory. You will participate in day-to-day team activities and witness the application of your solutions in the spectroscopic analysis of various materials.

Requirements

• Master’s student in Physics
• Basic programming skills (C++ 11/14)
• Knowledge of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics
• Affinity for Mathematics

Work Environment

• Location: Eindhoven (minimum of 2 office days per week)
