• Develop liposomal nanoparticle formulations for DNA vaccines.
• Conduct physical-chemical characterization using light scattering techniques (DLS).
• Evaluate DNA encapsulation efficiency of various liposomal compositions.
• Assess transfection efficiency of DNA-containing liposomes in different cell types.
• Provide fresh perspectives by sharing your insights with the team.

These tasks will form the core of your internship and will often be performed independently after an initial training period. You may also take on additional projects or tasks based on your initiative or organizational requests.

• Final year of Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Food or Life Sciences with knowledge of material properties.
• Basic understanding of cell biology/cell culturing and/or immunology is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and/or English, both written and verbal.
• Availability for at least 6 months, 5 days per week.
