IKEA Delft is looking for a skilled Interior Designer to join our Store Interior Design team. You will utilize your extensive knowledge of home life and home furnishing to present functional, beautiful, sustainable, and affordable solutions tailored to our local market.

• Positioning the IKEA Delft store as the top choice for home furnishing in the local market.
• Applying your home furnishing knowledge and interior design experience to create up-to-date room settings and store media that exceed visitor expectations.
• Stimulating interest in home furnishing by showcasing new and inspiring solutions that encourage frequent visits to the IKEA Delft store.
• Utilizing the diverse IKEA product range to display distinct styles that cater to various individual tastes and needs.
• Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support, and co-worker areas.
• Ensuring the store remains vital and relevant to the local market daily, supporting our rich and creative Interior Design agenda.

Vereisten

• Education in interior design or architecture with a deep passion for home furnishing and understanding of everyday life at home.
• 2 to 3 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an IKEA Store or retail environment.
• Creative thinking with commercial visual competence and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• A practical, hands-on approach to tasks and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to share knowledge effectively in both individual and group settings.
• Desire to grow within IKEA, with aspirations for leadership or management roles.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Revit is essential.

Wat Wij Bieden

• A 1-year contract with potential for extension and a pathway to a permanent contract.
• A gross monthly salary between €3000 and €3662 based on a full-time (40 hours) contract and work experience.
