Type of position: Project Managers | Experience: More than 5 years | Part-time

In this role, you will be responsible for the progress of two parallel area development projects with extensive housing assignments.

The Role

You will lead complex housing and area development projects, guiding planning procedures and modifications to the Environmental Plan. Your responsibilities will include preparing and facilitating political decision-making, coordinating land acquisition and agreements with landowners, and collaborating with housing corporations, developers, and other public and private parties. You will also oversee selection and tendering procedures while monitoring planning, quality, budget, and risks. Additionally, you will liaise with internal disciplines such as spatial planning, real estate, legal affairs, and project management, maintaining contacts with decision-makers, stakeholders, and external advisors to ensure an integrated project approach from initiation to execution.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of demonstrable experience as a program and/or project manager within a government organization.
• Completed HBO bachelor’s degree.
• Available for the entire assignment period.
• Own laptop, phone, and other necessary equipment (Bring Your Own Device).
• In possession of or willing to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).

Nice to Have

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a program and/or project manager within a municipal organization.
• Completed WO bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with project and process management methodologies.
• At least 4 years of experience with complex urban area developments.
• Experience in collaboration between multiple public and private parties in area development.
• Familiarity with tendering procedures and planning processes.
• Experience with housing projects and land issues.

What We Offer

This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of extension. The work will be partially hybrid, allowing for both remote and on-site collaboration. You will work independently within a multidisciplinary project team and have extensive contact with internal and external stakeholders.
