We are seeking an Interim Procurement Assistant to enhance our Ingredients procurement team in Rotterdam, European HQ. This role is crucial as we work on several important projects alongside our regular procurement activities. You will help ensure that project-related tasks are completed accurately and promptly.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be to support the implementation of our European Supplier Portal by gathering, validating, and organizing supplier and procurement information. You will work closely with buyers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that the necessary data is complete, accurate, and available on time, facilitating a smooth implementation process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze forecasts, inventory, contract positions, and supply data to identify coverage needs, risks, and opportunities, providing buyers with timely information.
• Support the execution of contracts, purchase orders, and shipments, including scheduling, documentation, quality requirements, and invoice follow-up.
• Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across Procurement, Logistics, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure supply security and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate data to support purchasing activities and process improvements, contributing to system and project activities and ensuring clear documentation and handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical and planning skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders across different countries and functions.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
