In this role, you will provide support to residents of the municipalities of Deventer and Olst-Wijhe facing financial difficulties, focusing on sustainable solutions. Your responsibilities include conducting intake interviews, thoroughly assessing financial situations, and collaboratively creating clear and feasible action plans with clients. You will participate in Geldfit consultations when necessary and respond promptly to crisis situations. Your work will adhere to the principles of stress-sensitive service delivery, considering the individual capacities of clients. You will investigate the causes of debt and advise on possible solutions, guide processes such as MSNP and WSNP, and collaborate with other organizations as needed. Regular team meetings will be part of your routine, and you will receive guidance from a team leader while performing daily tasks within the client's organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of demonstrable work experience in debt counseling within the last 5 years.
- Completed education at least at the bachelor’s level.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the NVVK debt regulation code.
- A brief personal motivation explaining your suitability for this position.
- Presence in the office for the first 3 months; hybrid work is optional thereafter.
