As an Import Coordinator, you will oversee and optimize trucking activities for international shipments. Join a leading global logistics provider with opportunities for career advancement.

In this role, you will coordinate, plan, and monitor trucking activities for import and transit shipments. You will maintain intensive contact with ground handlers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams. Actively following up on shipments and intervening promptly in case of deviations is crucial. You will optimize transport flows through route planning, consolidation, and capacity management. Accurate processing of shipments, costs, and financial data in the systems is required, as well as preparing and verifying transport documentation. Coordination with suppliers, gateway teams, and Customer Care departments is essential, along with assessing customer instructions based on regulations, rates, and routing. You will monitor carrier performance and escalate issues when necessary, while actively contributing to process improvements and optimizing workflows.

Vereisten

Experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain.
Experience in air freight and/or road transport is a plus.
Strong communication skills.
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Stress resilience and the ability to maintain an overview.
An accurate working method with attention to detail.
Affinity with operational systems and data.
Willingness to work in varying shifts.
Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
