Our CTO (Technology) Human Resources team is dedicated to enabling the CTO domain to execute its people and business strategy. We align our HR priorities with the HR People Vision, empowering our employees to reach their full potential in facing present and future challenges at ING and beyond.

The Role

As an intern within the Global Human Resources organization, you will support the HR Business Manager (HR BM), the Global HR Business Partners for CTO (HRBPs), and the HR Director (HRD CTO) in achieving CTO priorities. Your objective is to enhance the team's success in delivering people priorities and projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HRD CTO, HR BM CTO, and Global HR CTO team in executing global HR projects and the People agenda.
• Support the HR Business Manager in developing and implementing the HR CTO Team's strategic agenda, preparing plans to deliver priorities, and monitoring progress on HR projects and daily activities.
• Act as a sparring partner and troubleshooter for the HR Business Manager and HRBPs in their daily operations.
• Help prepare for strategic People/Talent sessions and presentations for the CTO HR team, Global HR Management Team meetings, MBB meetings, and meetings with Senior Leadership Team members.
• Propose and implement improvements to HR projects, processes, and workflows while collaborating with our Communities of Expertise and Data teams.
• Manage specific HR projects within CTO HR, such as the Business Leadership programme, Step-Up performance management, data quality and reporting, and continuous listening initiatives (pulse surveys, OHI, sentiment surveys).
• Develop and lead your own HR project during your internship.

• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and escalate issues promptly.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and high-pressure situations, able to meet tight deadlines.
• Hands-on, proactive, resourceful, and willing to go the extra mile.
• Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels, with strong written and verbal English proficiency and storytelling abilities.
