The Role

In your role as Housekeeping Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping team, ensuring that all rooms and public areas meet brand standards for cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and organize the housekeeping department following the transition from outsourced services, including team structure and workflows.
• Provide strong day-to-day supervision and coaching to assistant managers, supervisors, and room attendants to foster a high-performing work environment.
• Plan and implement deep cleaning programs, including seasonal spring cleaning, to uphold long-term standards.
• Maintain organized pantries and storage areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper labeling of supplies.
• Monitor linen par stock levels, ensuring accurate counts and timely replenishment.
• Develop staffing plans aligned with hotel occupancy forecasts to manage labor costs effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms and public areas exceed cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with the Front Office team for timely room readiness for guests.
• Manage housekeeping inventory, ensuring efficient tracking and ordering of supplies.
• Coordinate with the Engineering department to address maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure all staff are trained and compliant with hygiene and safety protocols.
• Continuously seek improvements in efficiency and quality, working with the Operations Manager for implementation.
• Provide personalized service to frequent guests and World of Hyatt members.
• Assist in resolving guest complaints and proactively prevent future issues.
