If you are eager to leverage your expertise in a high-performing team focused on innovative engineering design projects, this role is for you. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work with a team of over 50 specialists in HV, MV, and LV systems, primarily in the global Energy industry, with a focus on offshore wind, carbon capture, and energy transition projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Reviewing project documents, conducting gap analysis, and preparing technical reports.
- Managing client and third-party relationships (civil, substation, crossing, etc.).
- Performing cable rating and thermal calculations.
- Designing underground cable bonding, jointing arrangements, and assessing interfaces with transition joint bays, substations, and civil works.
- Developing underground cable route and installation strategies (e.g., direct burial, HDD, drilling, crossing design).
- Conducting site visits before and during installation, providing commissioning support, and inspecting cable manufacturing processes abroad.
- Preparing inspection and test plans, reviewing test results, and addressing non-conformities during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
