We are collaborating with a global manufacturer of lifting and access equipment that is expanding its service operations throughout Europe. As a Service Technician, you will be tasked with servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various mobile lifting and access equipment, providing support to customers and dealers across the Netherlands. This hands-on, field-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, troubleshooting faults, and taking ownership of their tasks. A proactive, independent, and entrepreneurial mindset is essential as you will be part of a growing European operation.

De Rol

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lifting and access equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electro-hydraulic faults.
Repair machine components, systems, and assemblies.
Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new machines prior to customer delivery.
Conduct inspections, servicing, and scheduled maintenance on machines in the field.
Visit customer and dealer sites to investigate faults and carry out repairs.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers and dealer networks.
Ensure machines operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Complete accurate service reports and technical documentation.
Collaborate with international product, engineering, and sales teams.
Support customers throughout the after-sales process and maintain strong relationships.

Over Jou

We seek a hands-on service technician experienced in working with lifting equipment, access platforms, or similar mobile machinery. Relevant backgrounds may include:

Mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) / access platforms
Aerial work platforms
Scissor lifts
Boom lifts / telescopic boom lifts
Telehandlers
Cranes and lifting equipment
Forklifts
Construction machinery
Agricultural machinery
Other mobile hydraulic or industrial machinery

You should possess:

Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, or repairing lifting equipment, access equipment, or similar machinery.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic knowledge.
Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
A practical, hands-on approach to technical challenges.
Effective communication and customer-facing abilities.
The capability to work independently and take responsibility for your duties.
A start-up mindset with the flexibility to adapt within a growing European organization.
Fluency in Dutch and good command of English, both spoken and written.
A valid driving license (B).
Willingness to travel to customer sites and occasionally internationally.
