We are looking for a Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist to manage claims, denials, and payer relationships throughout the revenue cycle. This position requires a blend of coding knowledge and payer expertise to ensure that providers receive accurate and timely payments.

Responsibilities

• Submit claims to payers and track them through the adjudication process.
• Investigate and appeal denied claims with robust supporting documentation.
• Confirm insurance eligibility, coverage, and prior authorization requirements.
• Maintain accurate billing data and reconcile payer remittance advice.
• Keep up to date with coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and changes in payer policies.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to enhance documentation practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle operations.
• Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
• Familiarity with EHR and practice management systems such as Epic, Athena, Kareo, or AdvancedMD.
• Experience with payer portals and clearinghouse workflows.
• Exceptional attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Coding certification (CPC, CCS, CRC) is preferred.
