We're assisting a rapidly expanding US-based custom manufacturing platform in finding a Head of Sales to establish their sales engine. Our client connects creators, brands, and agencies with a vetted global factory network to produce custom products at scale — including apparel, accessories, packaging, and promotional goods for clients like Red Bull, Pepsi, and major sports leagues. With over 10 years in operation and a new platform launched in late 2025, they are positioning themselves as the supply chain for the creator economy, entering a new growth phase that requires a strategic Head of Sales to shape their revenue trajectory.
The Role
This is not a management position but a builder role. You will collaborate directly with the CEO to create playbooks, manage the sales pipeline, and engage in critical deals. You will lead a small team across two business units: one focused on high-velocity SMB inbound sales and the other on outbound B2B brand partnerships. Your responsibilities will include hiring, coaching, and scaling the sales function you establish. If you prefer a structured environment, this role may not be suitable; however, if you excel at building from scratch, this could be the most exciting opportunity you encounter this year.
Requirements
- 7+ years in sales and business development, with a minimum of 4 years in a closing or outbound leadership role at a startup, SMB, or e-commerce company
- Proven experience working directly with a founder or CEO, translating strategy into pipeline rather than waiting for direction
- Hands-on experience with CRM setup (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Salesforce)
- Strong capabilities as both a team motivator and a data analyst
- Full availability during US EST/PST business hours
