• 5+ years of experience in B2B software sales, including at least 3 years selling to public institutions (HBO, WO, MBO, government).
• Proven track record of closing deals in the €25K–150K range and managing revenue targets.
• Familiarity with budget cycles in institutions, including decision-making processes and payment timelines.
• Experience in a long-term role where you have witnessed the long-term effects of your deals.
• Comfortable working in early-stage environments; hands-on, organized, and capable of creating processes from scratch.
• Fluent in Dutch (native or near-native) and professionally proficient in English.

• Proficiency in German or a willingness to learn, as part of our market extends across the border.
• Experience with public tenders or dynamic purchasing systems.
• Background in converting informal pilots into structured contracts.
• Familiarity with education, research, or public innovation sectors.

• A degree or equivalent experience; comfort in engaging with deans, program directors, and procurement officers is essential.
• Dutch work authorization; we cannot sponsor visas.
• A valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly to institutions across the Netherlands.
• Based in the Netherlands, preferably in the Limburg region.

This position does not include a marketing team, inbound leads, established processes, or a manager above you. If you seek those elements, this role may not meet your expectations.

You will be employed by Hoverise B.V. in Venlo, with a hybrid work model that entails approximately two days a week in Venlo and the remainder working remotely or with customers. The start date is early 2027, or sooner for the right candidate. We will discuss the compensation package openly during the initial conversation to ensure mutual interest before proceeding further.
