Become part of Siemens Healthineers, specifically within our Varian Field Service Engineer Hardware team, where you'll be the primary contact for customer service and repair needs, ensuring optimal equipment performance. The FSE is tasked with troubleshooting, repairing, installing, upgrading, and performing preventative maintenance on designated VMS equipment according to company guidelines. This role is based in the Netherlands, with occasional travel to neighboring countries to support Varian's Field Service Teams.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair designated equipment, including preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades per guidelines.
Manage time effectively, maintaining a schedule for preventative maintenance, installations, and incoming customer calls, prioritizing requests accordingly.
Recognize when to escalate incidents and seek assistance from more experienced representatives.
Address complex customer issues, diagnose, and resolve them while meeting established Field Service Representative levels. Manage territory effectively, ensuring timely completion of service and expense reports, and handling required documentation according to procedures.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Understand customer care and experience management principles.

Requirements

Preferably possess medical device experience.
Background in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering, with knowledge of test equipment for verification and calibration of electronic devices.
Familiarity with technical documentation, standards, principles, concepts, and techniques in the field.
Basic computer skills and debugging capabilities.
Fundamental understanding of delivery system networks and networking techniques.
Basic knowledge of imaging systems.
Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as follow-ups, PMIs, and minor STBs.
