What to expect As a Group ICS Officer, your responsibilities will include designing, coordinating, and continuously improving the Internal Control System (ICS) across the Group, which encompasses KNDS N.V., KNDS France, KNDS Deutschland, and their national and international subsidiaries. You will work closely with local ICS Officers to: ## Responsibilities - Define group-wide minimum control standards to effectively mitigate key risks and ensure consistent implementation across all entities. - Establish and enhance the Group’s ICS framework, including processes, policies, procedures, and a robust reporting structure. - Oversee and coordinate ICS testing activities across the Group, acting as the central interface for external auditors. - Select, manage, and further develop the Group’s ICS. - Promote a strong internal control culture by fostering accountability, ownership, and risk awareness throughout the organization. - Build and strengthen an international network of key ICS stakeholders. - Regularly report on the adequacy and effectiveness of the Group’s ICS to senior management and the Audit & Compliance Committee. ## Requirements - A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Internal Controls or related functions (e.g., risk management, compliance, internal or external audit), acquired in an audit firm serving industrial clients or within an international manufacturing organization. - Strong knowledge of recognized Internal Control frameworks, such as COSO. - Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes, including reporting, compliance, and operational processes within manufacturing environments; experience in the defense industry is highly desirable. - Familiarity with IT General Controls (ITGCs) and Application Controls, along with practical experience working with ERP systems. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C2 level); proficiency in French and/or German is a plus. - Proven experience engaging with senior management and supervisory bodies. - Willingness to travel internationally (approximately one-third of the time), primarily within Europe. ## Benefits - Stable employer - Career development opportunities - Fitness and health facilities - Company pension scheme - Flexible working hours - Corporate benefits.
